We respect your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your data. By using InsMelo, you agree to these terms.

Personal: name, email, payment details (if you subscribe)

Content: lyrics, audio and generated assets
Cookies: to improve experience and measure performance

Face Data Policy

The face data we collect

We analyze your photo and find out the feature points of the face in the photo (such as eyes, nose and mouth points) for face processing. After the analysis process is completed, all data will be automatically deleted immediately and NO data will be saved.

For the core functions of photo processing (beautifying, coloring), our application will collect the avatar photos you upload or take. You can voluntarily allow our application to access album to obtain photos from your mobile device. Our application can ONLY access your camera and album after you confirm your permission.

Face recognition

When you use certain facial recognition features, we will automatically capture the positions and shapes of your five senses, analyze facial feature information, store this information on our server for photo processing, and return the rendering to you. WE WILL NOT STORE OR SHARE such processed photos, facial features, or renderings with any third party. After the analysis process is completed, all data will be automatically deleted immediately and no data will be saved.

Purpose and process of collecting face data

To give you a "Music Video" effect, we need to find feature points (such as eyes, nose, mouth points).

The complete process is as follows:

(1) You will submit the selected photos to our server in an encrypted manner;

(2) After the synthesis is completed, the server returns the final rendering effect to you through the application;

(3) The final composite effect will be temporarily stored in encrypted storage and will be permanently deleted immediately. After the synthesis process is completed, we will immediately delete the face image you submitted to the server.

Face data will not be shared or stored

WE WILL NOT SHARE YOUR FACE DATA WITH ANY THIRD PARTY, NOR WILL WE STORE ANY FACE INFORMATION YOU SUBMIT. THE PHOTOS YOU UPLOAD WILL BE DELETED IMMEDIATELY.

Audio and Voice Data Policy

The audio data we collect

For the core functions of music processing (such as AI Song Cover), our application will collect the audio recordings or files you upload. You can voluntarily allow our application to access your device's microphone or file system to obtain audio. Our application can ONLY access your microphone and files after you confirm your permission.

Voice processing

When you use certain voice and music generation features, we will automatically analyze your audio to extract vocal characteristics and pitch information, store this information on our server for music processing, and return the generated song to you. WE WILL NOT STORE OR SHARE such processed audio, voice features, or generated songs with any third party. After the analysis process is completed, all data will be automatically deleted immediately and no data will be saved.

Purpose and process of collecting audio data

To give you an "AI Song Cover" effect, we need to analyze your voice features.

The complete process is as follows:

(1) You will submit the selected audio files or recordings to our server in an encrypted manner;

(2) After the synthesis is completed, the server returns the final generated music to you through the application;

Audio data will not be shared or stored

WE WILL NOT SHARE YOUR AUDIO OR VOICE DATA WITH ANY THIRD PARTY, NOR WILL WE STORE ANY AUDIO INFORMATION YOU SUBMIT. THE AUDIO FILES YOU UPLOAD WILL BE DELETED IMMEDIATELY.

Advertising

To keep InsMelo free of charge, we use third-party advertising services provided by Google AdMob. Please read how your data is handled for advertising:

Data Collection & Sharing: We collect and share non-personally identifiable information, such as your device model, IP address, and advertising identifiers (e.g., Apple IDFA or Google AAID), with Google AdMob to deliver personalized ads and measure ad performance. Google may use cookies or other tracking technologies to serve ads based on your interests. Strict Separation of Face Data: WE STRICTLY DO NOT use, share, or sell your Face Data, uploaded photos, or any derived facial features for advertising, targeting, or tracking purposes.
Your Choices (Opt-Out): You can manage your ad preferences at any time:
- iOS Users: Go to your device Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track" for InsMelo.
- Android Users: Go to your device Settings > Google > Ads, and enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or select "Delete advertising ID".
